Common Excuses #7 Gentiles Shouldnt Keep All the Torah - Genesis 48

When a Gentile comes to faith in Messiah Yeshua, what is their relationship to Torah, the Law of God? Traditional Christians keep much of the Torah without realizing it as we live in a culture saturated with biblical principles. But they don't particularly feel any need or obligation to pursue Torah observance because that is legalism. Messianics have struggled answering this question over the years as well, with some wanting to limit or restrict what Gentiles should keep from the Torah. Some agree with Noahide laws or Distinction theology.

If Messianics don't really understand this issue, how can we truly encourage and lead believers in Messiah into a right relationship with Torah? Because if given an out and excuse from keeping the Torah, we'll take it.
