Who was Right? Hillel or Shammai when it comes to the Gentiles, their place in the world to come, the Olam HaBa, and the idea of conversion? Their debate affected the early believers in Messiah as demonstrated in Acts 15.
Paul's point is that Faith in Messiah as the Provision of Israel's God is more important than outward appearances. Because Circumcision of the Heart has been God's goal all along--it's also a promise of the Future Kingdom.
