Romans pt 45 - Food and Weakness of Faith - 14:1-21

Does Romans 14 really give people permission to eat anything they want? Is the definition of food up for debate? Are those who want restrict what they eat really weak in faith? Or is something else going on, some other issue that Paul is dealing with? Above all, he wants to keep this synagogue together to strengthen and support each other.
