Neilah: Closing of the Gates

The idea of the gates being opened for God's people and the nations is a theme that shows up throughout the Scriptures. Who knew it was a concept so closely attached to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

On Yom Kippur, the Books and the Gates are closed and the opportunity to pledge your loyalty to the King on the Throne, the Messiah, has past. Eventually, our time and opportunity passes. We must come to our Savior while the gates are opened. Today is the day of Salvation.
