Torah#24 - Vayikra - Transferance & Salt

While I grew up largely avoiding Leviticus in my reading of Scripture and didn’t hear it very often from the pulpit, it’s where the Jewish people start their children learning about the faith. With good reason. It should prepare them for the work and purpose of Messiah. The sacrificial system teaches the lesson about Transference. How guilt, iniquity and sin can be Transferred from an individual, a community, even a nation, to an innocent Substitute. That is fulfilled most clearly in Messiah Yeshua. He is the One who carries us through the fire.
