Torah #21 - Ki Tisa - Seeing His Face, Paying the Debt & Purim

This Torah has many connections to Messiah. It begins with the debt we owe to the King. A debt too costly for any man to pay. The half shekel is a reminder of the debt we owe to God and the ransom that needs to be paid. Then the smoke that rises from the altar of incense also speak of the ministry of the Word of God. Lastly, how is the dilemma of what it means that ADONAI meets with Moses face to face when just a few verses later the Scriptures say no one can see His face and live?

Remember, we search the Scriptures, according to John 5, because they testify about Messiah.
