Introduction to Paul

2 Peter 3:15-16-- 15 Bear in mind that the patience of our Lord means salvation—just as our dearly loved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom given to him.

16 He speaks about these matters in all of his letters. Some things in them are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist (as they also do with the rest of the Scriptures)—to their own destruction.

Far too many believers misunderstand the Apostle Paul and his teachings. Because of this, some reject his writings entirely, others come to the wrong conclusions and use a verse or two out of context as a weapon.

But to reject Paul and his writings is to go against far more than just Paul--that means going against the other Apostles who approved of him, Yeshua for appointing him on the road to Damascus and the Holy Spirit for filling him.

Instead of all of them being wrong... perhaps we should consider that we don't understand Paul correctly.
