Hanukkah: A Reminder to Gods People

Hanukkah is a yearly reminder of the importance of Dedication to ADONAI and His ways--because elements in the world will try to force you to stop.

One issue raised during this time forces us to ask, How important is keeping the Shabbat--is it just another day--to conduct business as usual or is it holy and set apart?

The next issue raised at this time, Does God have the right and the authority to tell you what to eat or not to eat? The first sin involved someone eating something God said not to. Would you refuse with your life to eat something God said not to?

The Jewish people in the days of Hanukkah refused and it cost them their lives.
